International Women’s Day 2026

Updated: Mar 8

Celebrating Women and Inclusive Leadership at Inclusive United CIC

This International Women’s Day 2026, Inclusive United CIC is proud to celebrate the women who help shape our organisation through leadership, coaching, support and participation.

Creating safe and supportive opportunities for women in sport has always been central to our mission. From delivering inclusive sessions to developing leadership pathways, we are committed to ensuring women of all abilities feel valued, confident and empowered.

Across our organisation, women play key roles in leading programmes, coaching sessions, supporting delivery and helping our community grow. Their passion, lived experience and leadership help ensure that our work remains inclusive, empowering and community-focused.

At the same time, we recognise that creating inclusive opportunities for women is supported by the collective effort of our entire team.

Colleagues, volunteers and supporters of all genders work together to build an environment where women and girls can thrive, develop confidence and feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Female Participant at Inclusive United

We are equally proud of the women and girls who participate in our sessions. Through inclusive football, multi-sports and wellbeing activities, they build confidence, develop friendships and strengthen leadership skills in a positive and supportive environment. We are particularly proud when participants progress into volunteering, coaching or leadership opportunities, demonstrating how inclusive sport can open meaningful pathways.

Co Founders Tracy Light, Martina Hardy and Hannah Coote

As Tracy Light, Co-Founder and Director at Inclusive United CIC shares:

“Creating inclusive opportunities for women in sport is central to what we do. We want every woman who joins Inclusive United - whether as a coach, participant, volunteer or team member - to feel supported, valued and confident to grow.”

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the collective strength of the women across Inclusive United CIC - leaders, coaches, supporters and participants - while recognising the wider team and community who stand alongside them in supporting equality and inclusion in sport.
