We’re delighted to share our Year 3 Impact Report reflecting on another exciting year at Inclusive United CIC.

Since launching our first inclusive sport session in September 2023, our aim has been: to create fun, safe and supportive inclusive sport opportunities where everyone feels seen, valued and included.

Throughout the year, we have continued to provide inclusive sport, wellbeing and employability opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities, learning differences, neurodiversity, SEN and additional needs.

Our programme has continued to grow across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, with opportunities including inclusive football, futsal, multi-sports, team games and wellbeing sessions. We have also continued our outreach programme with schools, colleges, community groups and other organisations to help create more opportunities for people who can face barriers to taking part in sport.

Our training provision has also continued to expand, and we are delivering inclusive coach training, staff training, inclusive sport and disability sport awareness training, inclusion training and team-building days. These sessions are designed to build confidence, develop practical skills and support organisations to create more inclusive and accessible opportunities for everyone.

The impact this year is about much more than simply getting active. Our sessions are places where people can build confidence, develop friendships, improve wellbeing, learn new skills and feel part of a community.

One of the important themes of our work has been recognising that inclusive sport can open doors to much more. Through our sport and employability work, we have supported young people to develop confidence, leadership and transferable skills, with opportunities to explore volunteering, coaching and pathways towards employment in sport.

In 2026, we also launched Pathways to Potential Volunteering, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. The programme uses inclusive sport as a starting point for developing leadership skills, confidence, wellbeing and employability, alongside opportunities for supported volunteering and coaching qualifications.

Year 3 has also seen us strengthen existing partnerships and develop new ones. From working with schools and community organisations to delivering inclusive opportunities with sporting partners, collaboration has been central to our progress. We know that creating lasting change cannot be done alone, and we are incredibly grateful to the organisations, funders, our sponsors, including; Rapid Electrical and Highfield Wealth, volunteers and supporters who continue to believe in what we are trying to achieve and of course, our amazing team of coaches, directors and support staff. Most importantly, we are grateful to our fantastic participants and their carers, parents, group leaders and support networks.

Looking ahead

There is a lot to do! We want to continue expanding access to inclusive sport, developing pathways for young people, supporting more organisations to become inclusive and reaching more people who may otherwise miss out on opportunities to be active, connect with others and develop their potential.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.
