Inclusive United CIC is proud to announce that we were named winners of the prestigious Lord- Lieutenant of Hertfordshire’s Entrepreneurs Challenge at this year’s 140th Hertfordshire County Show.

After being selected as finalists earlier this month, Inclusive United CIC took part in the live finals held across the show weekend, where 10 outstanding businesses and organisations pitched Dragon’s Den style in front of a fantastic panel of judges inside a packed Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce marquee.

The competition showcased some of the county’s most innovative and inspiring organisations, all making a positive impact across Hertfordshire and beyond.
Inclusive United CIC was honoured to be announced as the overall winner of the challenge, recognising the organisation’s continued commitment to expanding opportunities in inclusive sport, wellbeing, and employability, while creating accessible pathways that deliver lasting positive impact across the community.
Co-founder and Director Tracy Light said:
“It was amazing to be named finalists and then to go on and win the Entrepreneurs Challenge at the Hertfordshire County Show. Thank you to The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire for creating this opportunity, alongside all of the judges and everyone involved in organising the event and congratulations to all the entrepreneurs who were part of such an incredible competition.
We’re really looking forward to getting to know the organisations who have kindly donated their expertise and support as part of the prize to help us continue to grow and develop. It’s such an exciting time for everyone at Inclusive United CIC as we continue to expand. We wish all the fantastic entrepreneurs who took part in the challenge the very best for the future"

The event also celebrated several other outstanding finalists:
Tuckfield Estates was named runner-up
Reclaimer Industries received the “One to Watch” recognition
Maryam Doula was awarded Best Stand
The atmosphere throughout the weekend was incredible, with over 38,000 visitors attending the County Show and many engaging with the finalists and exhibitors throughout the marquee.

Winning the Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire’s Entrepreneurs Challenge marks another important milestone in Inclusive United CIC’s journey and provides further momentum as the organisation looks to grow its impact and move one step closer to establishing its own community sports hub.
