Inclusive United CIC were delighted to be part of the launch of Herts Together, held on Tuesday 10th February at the historic St Albans Cathedral. The event marked the beginning of an exciting year-long programme celebrating connection, community and shared identity across Hertfordshire.
It was a pleasure to host a stand at the event, where we showcased our inclusive sport opportunities and highlighted how sport and wellbeing can bring people together, break down barriers and create opportunities for everyone to feel welcome and involved. We were in awe of the stunning medieval door next to where our stand was positioned!
It was also great to watch the amazing Purple All Stars perform. Purple All Stars are a group of individuals with learning disabilities who have a real passion for delivering messages about health, equality and community inclusion for people with learning disabilities, as well as their families and carers.
Herts Together is built around the powerful message One County, Many Voices, Shared Future and will see a wide range of events, projects and collaborations take place throughout the year across seven key themes, including sport and wellbeing, culture, education and the environment.
We are proud to have been involved in such a positive event and look forward to continuing to support initiatives that celebrate inclusion, diversity and connection.
