Thursday, 27th November 2025 was a proud moment for Inclusive United CIC, as they were featured as part of the lead story on ITV Anglia alongside BeActive and Sport England.

The coverage followed Sport England’s announcement of a major expansion to its Place Partnerships programme — an important step in tackling inactivity and inequality across the country.
Sport England has confirmed 27 new locations where targeted, place-based investment of £250 million will focus on communities facing the greatest need. Each selected area ranks within the top 20% nationally for inactivity, social need, deprivation, and health inequality. This renewed commitment recognises the urgent need to create environments where being active is possible, accessible, and supported for everyone.

The session filmed by ITV Anglia was one of inclusive united's inclusive sport sessions held at Venue 360 in Luton and kindly funded by Luton Borough Council. It demonstrated the positive impact that local investment can have and provided a brilliant snapshot of how community-led, inclusive opportunities can break down barriers and support people to move more.

For Inclusive United, being featured on ITV Anglia was a valuable opportunity to highlight the important work we’re doing on the ground — and to show how collaboration with partners is helping us reach the people who need these opportunities most."
We’re excited to continue playing our part and to help ensure that every community has the opportunity to move more, feel better, and thrive.
