Inclusive Football - Summer Series

Event Details

Inclusive United's summer series of inclusive football sessions will be held at Longdean Sports Centre, Longdean School. Designed for young adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, SEN (special educational needs) or additional needs, we will be running a fun session of football for all abilities outside on the astro with an indoor area for social time. Participants play in a safe, inclusive and fun environment, develop their football skills and build their confidence. There is also time for participants to meet new friends and socialise, play pool and table tennis in the social hub and choose games to play such as penalty shoot outs and ball skills. This session is suitable for individuals with mild to moderate learning disabilities who are keen to play matches and develop their football skills. On the day please: - come dressed in clothes suitable for exercise outdoors and for all weathers * - wear astro trainers if you have them / football boots (no metal studs please) and shin pads. - bring your own easily identifiable water * If the weather is not suitable we will hold a social and indoor games session inside the Grovehill adventure playground pavilion instead. If you don't have any astro football boots, please let us know and we can arrange some for you free of charge. £6 per hour if you wish to stay for only one hour.
