Delivered every Monday from 3rd Feb 2025, Inclusive United's, Inclusive Sport and Employability The programme runs from 11.30am to 2.00pm for 24 weeks and has been funded by Sport England. Aimed at young adults aged 18+ with mild learning disabilities, Neurodiversity, SEN or additional needs, the programme will deliver inclusive sports sessions consisting of a range of multi-sports whilst assisting participants to build their skills and confidence to help them with their long-term goals of being active and being able to access volunteering roles and work experience and employment opportunities in the sports industry in the future. Whilst being active, participants will learn how to plan, setup and organise sports sessions, coaching skills, teamwork. There will be visiting organisations to provide helpful information and signposting where possible to help with long-term employability goals. Wear comfortable sports clothes, bring trainers or astros and bring water and a packed lunch. Please ensure that packed lunches or any food is nut free. The programme will be based at Grovehill Adventure Playground, Hemel during term time, from 3/2/24 to end July with some further sessions organised during the summer. Session is £10 and can be paid online or in person. Please let us know if you wish to pay by direct payments and we can arrange an invoice. There is also a financial difficulty policy in place if anyone can not meet the £10 per session.
